Lawn Service Information

As I have gotten older, I have relied more and more on a lawn service to work in my yard.  I just can’t muster the energy that it takes anymore to rake up leaves and clean up the flower beds.

The lawn service that I hired ten years ago, after my first heart attack, was a pretty basic service.  I originally thought that after my recovery, I would start doing my own yard work again.

I did not every start doing my own yard work again.  I enjoyed having someone else cutting the grass and making sure everything stayed relatively neat and tidy.  I had the same lawn service for about three years.

I changed lawn service companies after the one that I had been using closed up shop.  I’m really not sure what exactly caused the failure of the business, but I think that it may have been that he did not charge enough for his services.

Lawn Service Tips

Competition among lawn service companies is pretty intense.  I put a classified ad in my neighborhood paper and no less than ten different lawn service representatives called me.

All of the lawn services that I considered to take over my account cost much more than the lawn service I had previously been paying for.  I felt like I had no other choice but to just pick the one that I liked best based on personality because the prices were all comparable.

The lawn service that I initially hired didn’t last long.  I did not like the employee that they assigned to do my maintenance on my bushes.  I asked for another worker and they declined my request so I fired them.

The next lawn service that I hired was a family affair and I really liked them at first meeting.  The father was a little younger than me and all four of his children worked in the lawn service business as well.  I have kept this same family as my lawn service ever since.
